Our story starts back in 1998 when my mother took an old rail car and renovated it into an ice cream shop. At first we sold a popular name brand ice cream. Then in early 2002 my husband and I took a three day ice cream class in North Carolina. From that point on we have been making our own product. It is our mission to use the finest and freshest ingredients possible. Our ice cream mix comes from a local dairy in Windham and our own goats supply us with the milk for our gelato.
The Caboose will be open Friday, September 10th through Sunday September 12th 12-8pm. After that it will be closed for the season and will reopen next Spring.
Our NEW LOCATION at 21 Memorial Highway in North Yarmouth will have it's GRAND OPENING SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 18th 12-8. The hours for this location will be Tuesdays- Sundays 12-8 year round.
